Ask a Stylist: What to Pack

By Chloe, TBCo’s in-house stylist.

My go-to for every kind of holiday

Whenever I pack for a trip, I always reach for a matching set. It’s the one thing that never fails me. Whether it’s a cotton co-ord, a loose shirt and shorts combo, or even a pair of pyjamas from our collection that I wear as separates. They always look good, feel comfortable, and take the stress out of getting dressed.
All of our matching sets at TBCo are made with a relaxed, easy fit that works across body types. They’re soft, breathable and versatile. I wear them constantly at home too, but on holiday, they really shine.

Cap, T-Shirt, Shorts, Trousers, Shirt.

One. The easiest beach cover-up

I wear the shirt from the set over my swimwear when I head down to the pool or beach. It’s lightweight and just structured enough that I still feel pulled together. It also takes up no space in your bag. This is always the first thing I put in my suitcase.

Two. Your relaxed weekend look

When I’m exploring a new city or heading out for a lazy brunch, I throw on the shorts or trousers with a basic white tee and trainers. Or I wear the shirt open over denim. These sets are designed to mix and match with the pieces you already love, and I find they make getting dressed feel effortless.

Three. Buttoned up and tucked in

One of my favourite styling tricks is to take a relaxed shirt and tuck it into high-waisted trousers. Just like that, you’ve got an outfit that works for work calls, dinners out, or anything in between. I do this all the time with our pyjama tops. They don’t look like sleepwear when you style them this way. They just look intentional and elegant.

Four. The ultimate airport outfit

If I’m flying, I want to feel relaxed but still look like I made an effort. These sets are perfect for that. They’re soft enough to wear on the plane, and structured enough that you can go straight from the airport to your first stop without needing to change. I usually layer a recycled wool blanket over the top in case it gets cold.

The colour palettes that work with your wardrobe

From soft lilacs to neutrals to subtle stripes, all our sets are designed to pair with the rest of your wardrobe. I often mix them with chocolate tones, pale yellow, crisp white, or worn-in denim. These colours have real staying power, and you’ll find they work just as well next year as they do right now.

Why I always recommend matching sets

They take up less space in your suitcase. They’re designed to be worn together or apart. And they genuinely make you feel confident without having to overthink it. Whether you’re packing for holiday or just want to simplify your day-to-day wardrobe, I always suggest starting with a set.
You’ll find them across our clothing and sleepwear collections - and once you try styling them, you’ll understand why they’re such a staple in my wardrobe too.
